Membership in CUMTA is open to all music educators and music professionals in Champaign Urbana and the surrounding communities. If you are a piano teacher, voice teacher, instrumental music teacher, or music professional interested in joining our organization, we invite you to attend one of our meetings.
Membership Benefits
Membership benefits include varied activities for teachers and their students. Meetings feature expert speakers and performers. Master classes, recitals, and scholarship competitions are available for students of member teachers. Teacher membership benefits include a journal subscription to American Music Teacher, insurance programs, and opportunities for professional development at conferences and workshops.
